Escape on the Go is operated by Keenan Enterprises, LLC ("we", "us", "our"), based in San Ramon, California. This policy explains what we collect when you visit escapeonthego.com, contact us, book an event, or play one of our escape rooms.

Information you give us

• Contact form. Your name, email address, phone number, event type, preferred event date, and whatever you write in the message field. We use this only to answer you and plan your event.
• Bookings. Reservations are handled by Bookeo, a third-party booking service. The contact and payment details you enter there are collected and stored by Bookeo under its own privacy policy.
• Store purchases. Escape Greeting Cards are sold through Square. Square processes the order and payment under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your full card number.
• Leaderboard. If your group opts to post a time, the team name and completion time you enter are shown publicly on our leaderboard. Please avoid using full names, and never use a child's full name.

Information collected automatically

Our website uses third-party analytics to understand how visitors use the site. These services set cookies or similar identifiers and may record your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you interact with pages:

• Google Analytics — traffic and page-view measurement.
• Microsoft Clarity — heatmaps and session replay, which records mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling on our pages.
• PostHog — product analytics, recording which links and buttons are used.

Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of serving those files, and the site is delivered through Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs.

Photos and video at events

We often take photos at events, and we sometimes use them to promote our business on this website and on social media. We ask the host or organizer before photographing an event. If any guest is under 18, we use their image publicly only with permission from a parent, guardian, or the school or organization hosting the event. If you would like a photo of you or your child removed, email us and we will take it down.

Children's privacy

Many of our games are designed for children, but this website is intended for adults booking and organizing events. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Bookings and contact forms should be completed by a parent, guardian, teacher, or other adult. If you believe a child has given us personal information through this site, email us and we will delete it.

How we use your information

• To respond to your questions and plan, schedule, and run your event.
• To process bookings and payments through our booking and store providers.
• To send you information about an event you have booked with us.
• To understand how the website is used so we can improve it.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with the service providers described above, and only so they can perform their function for us, or where we are required to by law.

Retention

We keep event enquiries and booking records for as long as needed to run your event and to meet our business and tax record-keeping obligations, then delete them. Analytics data is retained according to each provider's own retention settings.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at the address below and we will respond.

California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and payments are handled entirely by our booking and store providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.
