Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Keenan Enterprises, LLC ("Escape on the Go", "we", "us"), of San Ramon, California. They apply when you book an event, buy from our store, or use this website. By booking with us you accept these terms.

What we provide

We bring a portable escape room to a location you provide and host the experience. We supply the puzzles, props, decor, and a host. You supply the space, and access to it for the time needed to set up, run the game, and pack down.

Your space

• Each room needs a minimum floor area, listed on our Our Rooms page. Please check it before booking.
• You confirm you are allowed to host the event at the location, and that you have any permission needed from a landlord, venue, school, or HOA.
• The space must be safe and accessible for our host and equipment. We may decline to set up, or stop an event, if a location is unsafe. We will always try to resolve a problem before taking that step.

Booking, payment, and cancellation

Bookings and payments are handled through Bookeo, and store orders through Square. The deposit, balance, cancellation, and rescheduling terms that apply to your event are the ones shown during booking and set out in your booking confirmation. Please read that confirmation — it governs your specific event.

If we have to cancel an event for reasons within our control, we will offer you a reschedule or a full refund.

Children and supervision

Many of our games are made for children. A booking must be made by an adult, and a responsible adult must be present for the duration of any event involving guests under 18. Our host runs the game; they are not responsible for supervising children. For school and youth group events, the hosting organization remains responsible for supervision and for its own consent and safeguarding requirements.

Our equipment

All props, puzzles, locks, decor, and electronics remain our property. Please treat them with care. You are responsible for loss of or damage to our equipment during your event caused by deliberate misuse or negligence, beyond ordinary wear and tear. We will tell you promptly if anything is damaged and what it costs to repair or replace.

Your property

We take care when setting up in your space, but you are responsible for moving or protecting anything fragile, valuable, or irreplaceable before we arrive. Please clear the area before the setup time in your confirmation.

Photography

We often take photos at events and sometimes use them to promote our business. We ask the host or organizer first, and we publish images of anyone under 18 only with permission from a parent, guardian, or the hosting organization. You can ask us to remove a photo at any time. Store purchases

Escape Greeting Cards are sold through our Square store. Orders, payment, shipping, and returns for those products are handled under the terms shown at checkout.

Liability

Our games are non-physical puzzle experiences. They involve no restraints, no crawling through confined spaces, and no physical exertion, and no one is ever locked in a room. Guests take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own conduct during an event.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of an event is limited to the amount you paid us for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Website content

The puzzles, artwork, text, photographs, and branding on this site and in our games belong to us. Please do not copy, reproduce, or reuse them without our written permission. Our games are sold as an experience, not a licence to reproduce their contents.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, and will change the date at the top of this page when we do. The terms that apply to your event are the ones in force when you booked it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and the courts of California will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
